I just installed update 1 for MAS90 version 4.4 and tested the application by invoice number. This new feature is from Extended Solution AR-1200 and is pretty cool. When applying cash receipts, instead of entering the customer number the user enters the invoice number. MAS90 finds that invoice from the invoice history file and auto-fills the customer number. After a check number is entered the amount received is auto- filled. When you proceed to Tab 2 to enter the invoice number, the invoice has already been selected! All you do is click Accept and you are ready for the next invoice! Very simple, easy and fast!

PCI compliance has come to MAS90 version 4.30.0.18. Sage has released an implementation guide for PA-DSS, Payment Application Data Security Standard. The guide instructions merchants, resellers and integrators on how to implement Sage MAS 90 and 200 into their environment in a PA-DSS compliant manner. While it is not a complete guide it is sufficient to implement in a standard MAS 90 environment.
