Excel Find and Replace - There are options!
In Excel 2007 the Find and Replace function has more features then just typing a string of text and/or numbers. There is an OPTIONS button that is worth exploring.

In its simplest form you type in something that you want to replace on the Find tab and enter the new value on the Replace tab. Clicking on the OPTIONS button provides you with additional choices.

The Within selection allows you to search just the sheet you are in (default) or you can search the entire workbook. You can search by Rows (default) or Columns. You can look in Formulas, Values or Comments.
The FORMAT button allows you to find cells that are formatted in a specific method. Clicking the botton brings up the standard formatting selections.

The Replace tab allows you to replace the text with any format option you need.

Take some time to experiment with these great options. It really adds your productivity with Excel!
